Former Russia and Celta Vigo star Alexander Mostovoi says Cristiano Ronaldo's blow up with Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is a tough situation to judge.
Ronaldo has been dropped and banished from senior training after leaving victory over Tottenham before the final whistle while being an unused sub.
Mostovoi told Gazeta: “Difficult case. I don't know how another coach would have acted in ten Hag's place.
"Not everyone has moments when Ronaldo or Messi can behave like this. I think we need to find a compromise.
"Who is ten Hag compared to Ronaldo? You could say he is nobody. It is clear that ten Hag is a coach, but you have to have respect for Ronaldo, because he is a legend.
"Ronaldo also was unpleasant walking out on the first team..."
