Former Aberdeen winger Sone Aluko will trial with Rangers this week in a bid to win a contract with the reigning Scottish champion.
The 22-year old England-born Nigerian is currently a free agent after his contract at Pittodrie Stadium expired at the end of last season and 'Gers want to run the rule over him as they seek cover for the injured Steven Naismith.
Aluko, who kicked off his career with Birmingham City, is believed to be keen on a season-long loan and will meet up with Rangers boss Ally McCoist today to discuss plans.
