Former Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has signed for Japan's Vissel Kobe.

He took to Instagram to post a photo of himself in his new club's kit, accompanied by the caption: 'The beginning of my next chapter.'

Podolski announced he was to leave Galatasaray back in March - when he posted on social media to confirm he would join Vissel Kobe at the end of the season.

Podolski had spent two seasons in Istanbul with Turkish giants Galatasaray - who he joined after leaving Arsenal in 2015.
