Mesut Ozil has suffered ankle ligament damage in action for Fenerbahce.
The former Arsenal midfielder was stretchered off in this week's 1-1 draw with Antalyaspor.
Scans today have shown ligament damage to his ankle, with Ozil expected to be missing for several weeks.
The attacking midfielder moved from Arsenal to Fener on a free transfer at the end of January.
So far, Özil has made six appearances in the Süper Lig. The contract of the 92-cap Germany player at Fenerbahce is dated until 2024.
