Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to return to football - though not to club management.

Wenger has been linked with PSG and Olympique Lyon since leaving the Gunners a year ago.

However, France's Soccer Link says Wenger instead will accept an offer from FIFA.

The world's governing body have been speaking with Wenger for nine months and he's now ready to accept their proposal.

It's suggested Wenger will take a newly created role which will see him have 'high level' of responsibility.
