Leeds United are assessing former Ajax head coach Alfred Schreuder as their next manager.
The Amsterdam giants chose Schreuder as the man to replace Erik ten Hag at the club.
However, a string of poor results in the Eredivisie led to him losing his job earlier this season.
Per The Athletic, the 50-year-old was even in attendance at Elland Road as Leeds lost 2-0 to Manchester United on Sunday in the Premier League.
Leeds will hold talks with Schreuder after they were rejected by two other candidates, Ray Vallecano boss Andoni Iraola and Marcelo Bielsa's ex-assistant Carlos Corberan.
Schreuder would be an underwhelming appointment, given his high profile failure at Ajax.
