Former AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he is in the dark over Paolo Maldini's sacking.
It was Maldini who brought Ibrahimovic back to Milan from LA Galaxy ahead of last year's Scudetto triumph.
Maldini was sacked as technical director at the end of the season and Ibrahimovic, who has since retired, said: "Maldini? I have a good relationship with him, we played against each other and I'm sorry we weren't together in the team.
"But we worked together, we won. Then, for everything else, I don't know what happened.
"I'm sorry for Paolo, because he is a flag of Milan."
