Everton are tracking Villarreal attacker Boulaye Dia.

Dia is currently on-loan this season in Italy with Salernitana.

Tutto Salernitana has reported the Blues had made contact with Villarreal about their 26-year-old striker.

Dia's campaign in Qatar did not get off to the best of starts yesterday, with Senegal losing 2-0 to the Netherlands.

Although he started the match up front, he was eventually replaced on 69 minutes as the African nation tried to find a way back into the match.
