AC Milan are tracking Everton midfielder James McCarthy.
The Daily Star Sunday says Everton have still not offered the midfielder a new deal.
It's understood the Republic of Ireland star's representatives were in Italy last week to discuss a potential move with both Milan clubs - AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez said in the summer that a new deal was in the pipeline for the defensive midfielder.
But no such contract has been forthcoming despite improved terms being agreed with key Goodison trio Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman and John Stones.
