Everton are hoping for positive news today over Romelu Lukaku's ankle injury.
Everton were dealt a new injury blow when Lukaku was taken off on a stretcher during Tuesday night's Merseyside derby.
The striker, on loan from Chelsea, appeared to suffer an ankle injury after team-mate Gareth Barry fell on him in the build-up to Steven Gerrard's opener in Liverpool's convincing 4-0 victory.
