Everton are pushing to sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Manager Rafa Benitez is desperate to add quality to his team in January, in hopes of avoiding a relegation battle in the second half of the season.

According to Calciomercato, the Toffees have been speaking with the Welsh midfielder's agent in recent weeks.

Ramsey, who has spent the past two years at Juve, wants to come back to England.

He has played only five times for the club this term, and has experienced a spotty injury record since signing on a free transfer from Arsenal.

Newcastle United are also interested in signing the 30-year-old.
