Everton, Feyenoord target Summerville casts doubt on Leeds future

Crysencio Summerville has cast doubts on his future at relegated Leeds United.

The Holland U21 winger is being linked with Everton and Eredivisie champions Feyenoord.

He told Voetbal International: "I would not know yet whether I'll play for Leeds next season. I also hear and read all kinds of things, but I do not want to be involved in that now.

"I have therefore asked my agent to keep all interest away from me for the time being. The first target is the Dutch U21s. I want to win. I'm hungry."

He added: "I must say that I had my doubts when I had to make the choice. Because yes, it is a big step. And it really was. I'm a boy from South Rotterdam, a boy from the street. I hardly spoke English and then you go abroad when you are eighteen.

"Nobody actually knows this yet, but I want to be honest: the first six months I had a very difficult time. At that time I called my agent almost every day. I said I wanted to go back to the Netherlands, that I didn't like it. I said, I just don't want this. I want to go home."

"I missed my people. Family, friends. I was there all alone. Not even in an apartment. The first weeks I slept in a hotel! Training and then back to that hotel room. And as I said: my English was not good."
