Everton defender Michael Keane won't hear criticism of former Manchester United teammate Jesse Lingard.

The pair won the FA Youth Cup together at United before Keane eventually left for Burnley.

Keane said on YouTube: “Yeah still friends.

"I've known Jesse since I was 10 years old. We've been all through the academy together, we had our first loans together at Leicester, and with England together, so whenever I go to England and he's there it's like we've not been apart.

"He's still one of my best friends there… He's such a good guy. He's just funny and down to earth – he's a top lad."
