Jonny Evans says Leicester City has labelled the club's eight-match winning streak as a "really big achievement".
The Foxes restored their eight-point gap to league leaders Liverpool thanks to a crushing 4-2 win over Aston Villa.
"It's a really big achievement. I've been playing a long time in the Premier League and it's very hard to do that," he told Sky Sports.
"I think the way we played today, we changed the formation. We played a diamond with two strikers and it worked in the first half, if we'd have been a bit more clinical, we could have been a couple of goals up.
"To get the goal against just before half-time was a sucker-punch, we had to compose ourselves at half-time.
"We got the goal early in the second half which helped a bit and then we controlled it."
