Evans agrees new Man Utd deal

Northern Ireland international Jonny Evans could earn a shock stay at Manchester United.

The 35-year-old veteran earned a surprising short term deal for preseason with the Red Devils.

Evans, who left United in 2015 for West Brom when Louis van Gaal was manager, was out of contract this summer at Leicester City.

Per the Belfast Telegraph, terms have been agreed between Evans and United on a stay.

He will be remaining for the coming season, which will see him slot in as backup in defense.

Evans is valued by manager Erik ten Hag for his experience, attitude, and quality on the ball.
