Euro2016: Belgium captain Hazard in doubt for Wales clash

Eden Hazard's presence for Belgium's Euro2016 quarter-final with Wales is in doubt.

The Chelsea playmaker suffered a thigh injury in Sunday's 4-0 Round of 16 win over Hungary and has been unable to train fully this week.

Belgium boss Marc Wilmots admits that his captain is facing a race against time to prove his fitness for his country's final eight fixture which takes place in the stadium of his former club Lille on Friday night.

"I hope so, I really hope that he will be able to train tomorrow (Thursday) but he still has some pain in his thigh today so he'll receive care for that this evening," he said.

"We are working on getting him 100 per cent fit but I cannot give you a specific time when that will happen nor can I tell you that he will be okay.

"I would like to but I can't. The medical staff are working on it."
