Estudiantes are chasing Barcelona great Andres Iniesta.

Marca says after the arrival of Javier Mascherano at Estudiantes caused a stir, yet another big name is being linked to the Argentinian side.

The presence of Gabriel Milito in the dugout has seemingly tempted another of his former Barcelona teammates to join the club from of the La Plata.

The player in question is of course a certain Iniesta, who still has one year left on his contract at Japanese team Vissel Kobe.

Iniesta, 35, has a very good relationship with both Milito and Mascherano after spending time as teammates for the Blaugrana, during a spell of unprecedented success for the Catalans.

The signing of Iniesta, if it does happen, will likely take place in 2020 after the expiration of his current deal
