Espanyol president Chen Yansheng insists he won't sell the club.

It's been suggested Chen has been fielding offers from around the world for the Catalans.

But at a shareholders' meeting yesterday, the Chinese businessman pledged his commitment to the club.

"We have the same enthusiasm as the first day. Our job is to move forward in a sustainable way in the coming years," said Chen.

Espanyol chief exec Mao Ye also pointed out that Espanyol must consolidate itself in the top ten of LaLiga. In addition, he stressed the need to depend less on the sales of players and generate more resources from other parts of the Catalan club.
