Eriksen speaks on growing connection with Man Utd teammate Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United star Christian Eriksen said he and Bruno Fernandes are developing a connection.

The Danish international was a free transfer signing in the summer, after leaving Brentford at the expiry of his contract.

Eriksen has been key for United in the Premier League so far this season, particularly excelling in their weekend 3-1 win over Arsenal.

Speaking to United's in-house media, he said: "Me and Bruno [Fernandes] are starting to get to know each other on the pitch and see how we would like to play, pass the ball and the runs we make. We try to read each other and give each other options and of course Sunday was the perfect link-up to score goals.

"Do we talk on the pitch? Yes we're trying to. Obviously if someone sees something you try to tell them where and when you expect the ball and where you expect the run. You try to communicate and plan things, but in the end you can't always do that so you have an idea and you react to the opponent.

"For me also it's only been a few games here and I'm still trying to learn about my team-mates and get to know them and get to know how they are as players."
