England U21 fire NINE goals past Serbia

England's Under-21s enjoyed one of their best ever displays in a Euro qualifying match.

The Young Lions beat the Serbian Under-21 side 9-1 at home on Thursday.

The likes of Jaden Philogene, Harvey Elliot and Noni Madueke each scored braces in the game.

Lee Carsley's side were the better team from the off, but went behind against the run of play.

Philogene eventually equalized, before Liam Delap gave his team a 2-1 lead in the contest.

Elliott then scored before half time, while Madueke got a quick second half double.

Jonathan Rowe got one late in the game, while Elliott got his second goal in stoppage time.
