Endrick: I play for Brazil's biggest club and was sold to Real Madrid - I easily could've been lost

Palmeiras striker Endrick says he's devoted everything to his career.

Endrick will join Real Madrid next summer.

He told TNT Sports: "To tell the truth, I hate going out, going to parties... I prefer restaurants, being with family. I don't want to know how much I'll earn, the figures that will be written on the contracts... I just want to play football.

"Of course, there are things that you must know, but for me they are not important. I know that certain things can pass through the mind of a young person immediately, but thank God I have been a professional since I was very young and I have been able to see things.

"I have seen things happen to footballers that should not have happened ... I have to learn from others and so I have."

The the teen continues: "I take the good things to try not to do anything bad. I keep quiet, I don't like being involved in controversies or doing things that can tarnish my image. I like being close to the people I love and they love.

"I thank God for having this mentality, otherwise I would have been lost by now, I won't lie to you. I was sold to Real Madrid and I play for the biggest club in Brazil, there are all the ingredients for a young man to get lost. Not me."
