Emre Can is convinced his game will improve working with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
Can insists it's an honour for him to train alongside Gerrard at Melwood every day.
"Every young player admires Steven Gerrard and everything he has achieved in the game," said Can to liverpoolfc.com.
"He has stayed at the top level for so long. He is one of the best midfield players Liverpool has ever had and a great captain.
"I still admire him now the way he is able to play those long passes so accurately.
"I'm a young player who can learn so much from a player of such vast experience.
"I can pick up stuff from him in training and in games that will help me develop my game."
