AS Monaco sports chief Michael Emenalo has defended Thierry Henry's appointment.
The former Arsenal star has struggled since taking charge after the sacking of Leonardo Jardim.
Emenalo stated: "Why did we choose Henry when he is inexperienced? You can train forty years, if you're not a good coach, you'll never be. Thierry does not need time but a little luck. He is better than I thought.
"I've known eleven coaches ar Chelsea: Conte, Mourinho, Hiddink ... I've seen enough training, game plans and match preparations to know what it's worth.
"He meets the expectations of the group and the moment. He was a huge player and worked with Lippi, Guardiola, Wenger, he learned from these people, it shows."
