Elche coach Jorge Almiron says Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin was key to defeat last night.

Elche lost 3-0 at home to the LaLiga leaders.

Almiron said: "We created chances and we came close to a draw.

"We have had several scoring chances against an opponent who does not give you anything. They all play the same way, I have never seen anything like it. The team has not given up. This gives me enthusiasm and hope to continue on our path.

"We have to stay positive and maintain this level of energy and enthusiasm. We have to try to play. The team wants to recover and will do it. We had good chances but Lunin was very good. We will continue to work to have more solidity."
