Eintracht Frankfurt favour sending Donny van de Beek back to Manchester United.
Van de Beek joined Eintracht Frankfurt in January on-loan to the end of the season.
The Dutchman can be signed permanently for €9.5m, but club chiefs are reluctant to trigger the option.
Van de Beek has made just six appearances for the Germans and is struggling to convince management.
