Forgotten midfielder Donny van de Beek is set to return to Manchester United this summer.

The Dutchman has not been able to impress as much as he wanted on loan.

Van de Beek, who is now 26, will not be making his loan at Eintracht Frankfurt permanent.

German outlet Bild state that Eintracht do have an option to buy van de Beek for a set fee.

However, they are very unlikely to take up that £8.5 million option to sign him at the end of the season.

Van de Beek was managed by Erik ten Hag, but the Dutch coach has barely used him at United.
