Sean Dyche's relationship with Burnley chairman Mike Garlick is reaching breaking point.
The Clarets were non-existent in the transfer market this summer.
And the Daily Mail says Dyche and Garlick's relationship is at its 'lowest ebb' since the Englishman was appointed as manager in 2012.
Dyche has also fallen out with technical director Mike Rigg due to disagreements over the club's transfer targets.
Takeover talks with ALK Capital are continuing, and there is also interest from another consortium funded by money from Egypt and Dubai.
