AC Milan have handed trials to Scunthorpe United striker Charles Vernam.

The 15-year-old has been with Scunthorpe since the age of nine and has already signed as an apprentice after showing early promise.

Now Milan have been alerted to Vernam's ability and United have agreed to let him undergo a trial in Italy. He is currently undergoing a six-day test.
