Dragovic reveals Leicester pub culture: But we were in control

Former Leicester City defender Aleksandar Dragovic has spoken of the culture he experienced with the Premier League outfit.

The Austria international is currently playing for Red Star Belgrade.

Dragovic told Goal: “The last training session before the match at Leicester was like the first day after the holiday. We laughed a lot, played the fool, pure fun. But as soon as the ref blew the whistle, everyone gave their best.

"We were told: 'Go and have a drink all together'. Leicester players often went to pubs, but did not get drunk and were in control. A couple of beers weren't a problem. It was important to give all the best in the matches, the rest did not bother anyone.

"After performing in Germany, it was a culture shock for me. I was wondering if this is accepted only in Leicester or everywhere in England."
