Union Berlin have completed the signing of Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana.

Fofana moves to the Bundesliga club in a straight season-long loan.

The Ivory Coast international, 20, joined Chelsea in January from Norway's Molde, signing a six-year contract.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Chelsea said Fofana "will now continue his development with Union, who will compete in the Champions League this season for the first time in the club's history".
