DONE DEAL: Spezia sign Latvian striker Raimonds Krollis from Valmiera FC

Spezia have clinched the signing of Latvian striker Raimonds Krollis on a permanent basis from Valmiera FC.

Krollis has signed a contract expiring June 30, 2026.

Born in 2001, Krollis grew up as a player in his home country, taking his first steps in the youth ranks of Metta/LU, before moving in January 2021 to Valmiera Fc, where the youngster has established himself as one of the most prolific center forwards in the top Latvian league and one of the most interesting offensive prospects in Europe.

Last season Valmiera, thanks mainly to the contribution in the goal-zone of its centre-forward, the league's top scorer with 25 goals, won the Latvian league title for the first time in its history. In total, with the Valmiera shirt, the striker scored 38 goals in 65 games.

A forward with great physical strength and an instinct for goal, Krollis has also been a reference for his senior national team for years, with which he has already collected 27 games and 3 goals. A left-handed player also endowed with good technical qualities, Krollis at the age of 21 is therefore ready to contribute to the Eagles' cause right away.
