Caykur Rizespor have signed Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.

Veteran Shelvey leaves Forest after seven-and-a-half months at the City Ground after arriving from Newcastle.

He managed to make just eight appearances for the club.

The midfielder has joined Rizespor on-loan for the season. They sit fifth in the Turkish Süper Lig table having won promotion from the second division last season.
