Giulio Donati has re-signed with Monza.

The fullback came off contract over the summer and was considering his options.

However, on the insistence of coach Raffaele Palladino, former Inter Milan junior Donati was re-signed yesterday by the Serie A surprise packet.

Monza confirmed on Wednesday: "Donati has signed a contract with the red and white club until 30 June 2024. Since his arrival in Brianza in the summer of 2020, he has collected 67 appearances and 1 goal, experiencing the historic promotion to Serie A on 29 May 2022 as a protagonist and always making his professionalism available to the team last season."

As much as his influence on the pitch, Palladino was also eager to bring Donati back to the club for his impact inside the club.
