Osasuna have signed Villarreal midfielder Moi Gómez.

Gomez moves to Osasuna for a fee of €1.8m up front rising to €2.3m.

The midfielder has signed a five-year contract, which will carry a €20m buyout clause. A 20 per cent sell on option has also been included.

Last season, Gomez played 28 games in LaLiga Santander, two in the Copa del Rey, one in the European Super Cup and six in the Champions League, accumulating 2 goals and 3 assists.
