Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Daniel Pinillos on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old Spanish left-back has undergone a successful trial with Forest, after leaving Cordoba at the end of last season, and will now make his new home in the East Midlands.

Forest boss Dougie Freedman was impressed by Pinillos during his training stint with the club which included a 77-minute role in a recent pre-season friendly against Doncaster Rovers.

Pinillos was part of the Cordoba side which gained promotion to Spain's La Liga in 2014 and also made nine starts in the top flight last season as his side experienced immediate relegation.
