Minnesota United director Mark Watson is delighted with their swoop for Teemu Pukki.

The Norwich City hero has signed for the MLS franchise this week.

Watson said, "It is real credit to the club, our development and our way of doing business. It's great that we can attract such a player.

"Teemu Pukki was on a free transfer and he could have gone anywhere. He had a lot of offers from big clubs in top leagues around the world, but he ended up choosing Minnesota."

Pukki, 33, has signed a deal with Minnesota to 2025.
