Manchester United have completed the signing of former New York Red Bulls defender Matthew Olosunde.

The Mirror says Olosunde came through the New York Red Bulls system but he quit the Major League Soccer franchise to go to college.

The 18-year-old was recently named as one of Duke University's six new recruits for the upcoming season, but he has now made the move to Old Trafford.

Olosunde was set to make his Red Devils debut on Friday night after being included in Tommy Martin's Under-18s squad for the game against Brighton.

United agree the deal for Olosunde on January 29 but had been waiting to receive his international clearance before announcing the deal.
