Malaga have snapped up Sporting Gijon winger Jony Rodriguez.

The 24-year-old, who recorded five goals and nine assists to help Sporting avoid relegation last season, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Andalusian outfit.

A Malaga statement read: "Malaga confirm, after the arrival of Keko Gontan, their second signing for the 2016/17 campaign:

"Jony Rodriguez, another of the most coveted youngsters from the last Primera Division season."
