Barcelona have clinched a deal for Boca Juniors defender Santiago Ramos Mingo.

Sport says an agreement is settled and now the two clubs are discussing whether Mingo immediately moves to Barca or he must wait until June.

The 18 year-old has made his first team debut with Boca and would initially join Barca B.

Driving the deal has been Barca B sports chief Jose Maria Bakero, who has managed all negotiations himself.

Bakero would prefer an immediate deal, though is prepared to wait until the summer in order to maintain positive relations with Boca.
