Athletic Bilbao have announced the signing of Eibar striker Urko Iruretagoiena 'Izeta'.

The 23-year-old played 18 games and scored 6 goals in the first half of the season in the Amorebieta shirt, where he played on loan from Eibar.

He will play with Bilbao Athletic, the second team of the Basque club that plays in the Tercera Division.

Eibar announced:

"Sociedad Deportiva Eibar and Athletic Club have reached an agreement for the transfer of Urko Iruretagoiena 'Izeta' to the Bilbao club.

"Formed in the Eibar youth academy, Izeta (Aia, 1998), has played this season in SD Amorebieta on loan, playing 18 games and scoring 6 goals. He spent the 21/22 season on loan at Arenas, playing 35 games and scoring 19 goals. He had previously played for the Armeros' reserve team, CD Vitoria, and Eibar's youth team.
