AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez has returned to Spain with Espanyol.

His move to Catalonia saw Pau Lopez complete his proposed switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

Lopez joins Espanyol on a year long loan.

He enjoyed first-choice status in his first season at Milan after his arrival from Real Madrid but lost his place to teenager Gianluigi Donnarumma last term.
