Disasi and Badiashile delighted being reunited by Chelsea

Axel Disasi is delighted being reunited with former AS Monaco teammate Benoit Badiashile at Chelsea.

The pair also were Monaco's centre-half pairing before Badiashile left for Chelsea last season.

"We complement each other really well," Disasi told chelseafc.com.

"I'm perhaps more of a duels player, while he likes to receive the ball and start up attacks. But it's not a case of him not being a duels player and me not being a receiver of the ball. These things, they just work well. We feel great together."

Badiashile also says: "By playing and playing together, you learn how to react to things and see things a little bit better together. It's one of those things that becomes easier."

Disasi revealed: "I had some questions about the group and he turned round and straight away said it's one of really good quality.

"He told me about the project, and even though it's a project, it's still a really good side. He also said how he had already been convinced by the project and how everything was going well for him.

"Since I've arrived, everything he's said has been true. Yeah, it's been a little bit shaky but it is a project and I'm in the same boat as him now, as from everything I've seen since the start of the season, it's been really encouraging."
