Federico Dimarco is proud of his impact this season with Inter Milan.

Dimarco has effectively replaced Ivan Perisic after his summer sale to Tottenham.

“Ivan [Perisic] was extraordinary last season he was unplayable," he said.

"I met him when he arrived and when we reunited after a few years, he had reached a higher level."

Dimarco also spoke of Inter's season overall, stating: “Criticism is normal, five defeats in Serie A are too many, and anything can happen in football.

“It won't be easy, but we'll give our best to get as far as possible.

“We deserved to lose against Milan, not against Juventus. We had the game in our hands, they didn't dominate. However, we take responsibility, it's our fault if we lost."
