Diego Lopez is delighted with his new deal at Valencia.
The young prospect has penned a deal to 2026.
Lopez said, "I'm very happy and very grateful to the club for the confidence they've shown in me. I'm looking forward to repaying that on the pitch. It's an honour to play here, because of the club's history. It's an honour to be here and to form part of this family.
"It's an honour to play here, because of the club's history. At VCF Mestalla I learned a lot from my teammates and the people who've helped me. Thankfully I've been able to take the step up and have the coach's trust.
"I'm still a little bit in shock because so much has happened in so little time. In my case, I went from suffering a hamstring strain in February to scoring a goal against Real Madrid at Mestalla in May to win a massive game."
