Di Livio backing Bologna coach Motta for Juventus

Juventus hero Angelo di Livio sees Thiago Motta as a future Bianconeri coach.

Di Livio has been alarmed by Juve's recent slide under Max Allegri.

He told TuttoJuve: "In the last few games they have eaten up everything good they had built at that time, especially I am referring to the simpler home games.

"Then we're going to lose against Inter who are stronger, but we could certainly have done more. It's not possible to lose points with Empoli, Udinese and Verona, this is what will ruin the season a little.

"You had to give some signals, so you can stop the Nerazzurri from easily winning the Scudetto."

Asked about next season, Di Livio talked up Bologna coach Motta.

"I don't know what will happen next year, whether Allegri will remain on the bench or not, but it is clear that Thiago Motta has a good mentality. He is a coach who is doing well, for me he absolutely deserves the move to Juve. The Bianconeri are launching several young players, so we will have to understand well what (sporting director Cristiano) Giuntoli wants to do."
