Di Livio: AC Milan players shouldn't need Ibrahimovic motivation

Former Juventus midfielder Angelo di Livio has questioned the need for AC Milan's players to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic as team manager.

Milan are in talks with the Swede about the role.

But Di Livio told TMW: "Seeing the last few matches away from home, I can say that Milan have thrown away incredible matches. We need to improve the approach in the second half because with 4 more points perhaps we were talking about something else.

"I really like what (Stefano) Pioli is doing, when I watch Milan I like to see him play. Sometimes they make mistakes, but that's okay.

“He (Ibrahimovic) is a charismatic man, but I believe that the serious professional does not need him to give everything on the pitch or to behave in a certain way off the pitch. But it's fine if they think he can be useful."
