Derby County are seeking a loan deal for Bolton Wanderers fullback Nicky Hunt.

The Mirror says Rams boss Nigel Clough wants Bolton's out of favour right back Hunt on loan.

Clough has asked managerless Wanderers to let him have Hunt to help him out of a crisis and expects an answer by the end of the week.

The former England under-21 defender is now third choice at the Reebok and will be allowed to go, but Bolton have to install their new boss first.
