Derby County boss Steve McClaren has made it clear he wants to keep Manchester United defender Michael Keane.

Keane's deal expires after the New Year's Day game against Wigan Athletic.

McClaren said: "We have said that from day one and, hopefully, we can. He has proved his pedigree."
