Deportivo La Coruna president Tino Fernandez has denied Lucas Perez is on his way to Leicester City.

The striker has been linked with the English champions this week. However, Fernandez insists no offers have been received for their star man.

"We have no deal. And as the days pass any unwanted sale will complicate things a lot," he said.

"So, at this stage, we not encouraging anything."

Lucas' deal carries a €20 million buyout clause.

The president added: "My belief is that he will be with Depor for the 2016/17 season."
