Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Juan Rodriguez has joined Getafe.

The 29-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Getafe after leaving relegated Depor, who he joined in 2006 having previously played for home-town club Malaga.

Rodriguez is the latest new face at Getafe as the club from the outskirts of Madrid rebuilds after narrowly avoiding relegation last season when they finished just a point above the drop zone.

Luis Garcia has replaced Michel as coach while Albert Lopo, Diego Castro, Miguel Angel Moya and Mehdi Lacen have all been added to the playing squad.
